Private Educator & Tutor

The Private Educator’s duty is at the discretion of the employer.

Our Private Educator’s backgrounds are seasoned classroom or home-school teachers. Some are professional nannies with a degree in Education.

The Private Educators will fit your needs either by guiding children through online education, after school homework or full-time home schooling.

Families choose their method of private education, commonly the Montessori, Waldorf or child-lead method of schooling with multiple intelligences and a spin on classical education.

Some Responsibilities of a Private Educator:

• Organize all tutorials and materials for daily education  

• Customize the learning approach to best fit Children’s unique needs and goals

• Educate children privately in-home (home school and/or tutor while home) 

• Set-up a formal classroom with structured breaks, meal times and snacks

• Stay up-to-date with curriculum schedules, testing and grade advances 

• Plan all activities for outdoor play, field trips, classes and special projects 

• Tutor children with homework, ensuring they are adequately completing work 

• Teach relevant information to the style of schooling requested by employer 

• Travel as needed to any destination employer needs to go (including abroad) 

• Clean and organize the schooling area, sanitizing tables and eating areas 

• Train children under the household rules, abiding by the parents requests
