Housekeeper & Laundress

The Housekeeper & Laundress’ duty is at the discretion of the employer.

This person is a consistent presence in your home to care for all cleaning duties, including pressing, steaming and laundry care for clothing.

This person maintains the organization of your home on a regular basis, providing you the luxury of living and leaving the mess behind.

Detailed cleaning of all bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms, dining rooms and kitchen on a daily basis is completed to your requirements.

Some Responsibilities of a Housekeeper & Laundress:

• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures and antiques  

• Cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces, showers/bathtubs, countertops and sinks

• Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area throughout the day as needed  

• Making beds, changing linens, ironing, turning down bedrooms and shades

• Washing all surfaces with proper cleaning agents and improving cleanliness  

• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets, rugs, chairs, couches, drapes, etc.  

• Ability to organize items in the exact order (not moving objects around)  

• Polishing all precious metals, jewelry (as requested) and silverware  

• Setting tables for formal breakfasts, lunches or dinners 

• Washing dishes after all meals and keeping the dining areas impeccable  

• Daily housekeeping as needed for house guests, including in guest homes

• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to employer standards

• Protecting equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies

• Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
